EXHAUST STROKE :

In this stroke the piston moves from BDC to TDC and the exhaust valve opens. The piston forces the burnt gases to move out. In this process the crankshaft rotates further 180 degrees. The total amount of degrees are now 720. This cycle of strokes, in the sequence listed,continues as long as the engine is in operation.
